1.1 The name of the Fundraising Initiative is The Big Charity Draw.

2.1 Number of Prizes


2.1 There are 9 Prizes for this fundraising initiative as of the current date. Additional Big Charity Draw prizes may be added closer to the Draw Date on 2019-16-03.

3. Prizes


3.1 The Prizes for this fundraising initiative are:

 

  • Two (2) BA flights to anywhere in their network.

    Valid for World Traveller flights only, subject to availability. Destination is subject to
    British Airways flight routes. The requested date and destination are subject to British
    Airways availability and your first choice may not be possible. Tickets are subject to
    British Airways terms and conditions.

  • Watch the England Team train at Pennyhill Park for four (4) people.

    Date of training session is non-transferrable. Training session is subject to
    change due to England team training schedule. Transport is not included. Food,
    beverages, or refreshments are not included.

  • One (1) Match-used ball from ENG v SCO signed by both team captains.

    Prize is one ball from the set of match balls allocated for the England v Scotland match
    played on Saturday 16th March 2019 at Twickenham Stadium. The ball will be signed
    by the captain of England Rugby and Scotland Rugby on the day. This is strictly subject
    to availability. If for any reason this specific signed ball is unavailable the Promoter and
    Rugby Football Union reserve the right to substitute an alternative prize of a comparable
    value for the signed ball. There is no cash alternative. The prize does not include the
    cost of travel, accommodation or any other expenses incurred by the winner of the
    competition. The Promoter and the Rugby Football Union will not be liable for any
    financial reimbursement related to redeeming this prize (including international postal
    costs, travel costs or other costs incurred).


  • One (1) Signed England shirt.

    Prize is an official replica England Rugby shirt signed by the current England squad
    ahead of the 2019 Guinness Six Nations. There is no cash alternative. The prize does
    not include the cost of travel, accommodation or any other expenses incurred by the
    winner of the competition. The Promoter and the Rugby Football Union will not be liable
    for any financial reimbursement related to redeeming this prize (including international
    postal costs, travel costs or other costs incurred).


  • One (1) Signed England ball.

  • Two (2)  tickets for England v Ireland in August.

    Date of tickets is non-transferrable. If tickets are resold in any capacity, they are
    void. Kick-off time subject to change. Transport is not included. Food, beverages,
    or refreshments are not included.


  • One (1) Rugby ball signed by Dylan Hartley.

    Prize is a Dylan Hartley Testimonial rugby ball personally signed by Dylan Hartley.
    There is no cash alternative. The prize does not include the cost of travel,
    accommodation or any other expenses incurred by the winner of the competition. The
    Promoter and the Rugby Football Union will not be liable for any financial
    reimbursement related to redeeming this prize (including international postal costs,
    travel costs or other costs incurred).


  • One (1) Shirt signed by England Women’s team.

    Prize is an official replica England Rugby shirt signed by the current England squad
    during the 2019 Guinness Six Nations. There is no cash alternative. The prize does not
    include the cost of travel, accommodation or any other expenses incurred by the winner
    of the competition. The Promoter and the Rugby Football Union will not be liable for any
    financial reimbursement related to redeeming this prize (including international postal
    costs, travel costs or other costs incurred).


  • One (1) signed print of England team.

4. Charity Partners


4.1 The Benefitting Charities for this fundraising initiative are Comic Relief, in partnership with the Try For Change Fund and British Airways Flying Start. England Rugby is a partner of Sport Relief and the Try for Change Fund is a fully managed fund by Comic Relief. Flying Start is the global charity partnership between British Airways and Comic Relief. Comic Relief is the trading name of Charity Projects, a registered charity in England and Wales (326568) and Scotland (SC039730), which is a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales

5. Online Entry Deadline


5.1 The deadline to enter online is 2019-16-03 17:00 GMT

6.1 The winning numbers will be announced on 2019-16-03 18:00 GMT

7. Who is eligible to win a Prize?


7.1 Eligible entrants must be at least 16 years old to win a Prize. Winners under 16 years of age must have parental permission to participate in this fundraising campaign.

7.2 Entrants must not be residents of Belgium, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Italy, North Korea, Singapore, Sudan, Syria or Thailand. Any entries from residents of the aforementioned countries will be deemed ineligible and are non-refundable. Entries are also subject to all local laws and certain conditions in foreign jurisdictions may prevent the issuing of a Prize. Employees, officers, or immediate family members of the charity partners, sponsors or contest promoters are not eligible to receive a prize.

8. Methods of Entry

8.1 We offer two methods of entry.

 

8.1.1 To make a donation

 

To make a donation and contribute to our amazing causes, you can select specific ticket amounts that correspond with a given donation amount. A participant can find these donation amounts on the [insert url] page of our website.

 

You can also donate in person at Twickenham stadium on Saturday, March 16, 2019.

 

8.1.2 To enter for free via phone

 

While we encourage you to donate to the great causes we support, you can enter for free by calling our call center and speaking with our charity support team. Just give them your first name, last name, age and email address. By doing so you agree to our Privacy Policy.

To keep things fair, a player entering by post will receive the amount of tickets associated with the average donation amount. This is usually 2x the lowest ticket amount.

9. Winner Selection Process

9.1 Winners (subject to eligibility) will be chosen via our independently certified random number generator. This random number generator is proven to be statistically random to insure fairness and goes above and beyond regular computer applications which include random functionality.

9.2 Odds of winning depend on the number of ticket entries a player has.

9.3 Winners may be required to sign paperwork re-confirming their eligibility as a Winner.

 

9.4 No purchase, payment, donation or contribution is necessary to enter or win.

 


10. Winner Notification Process

10.1 All winning ticket numbers will be posted on the website and all winners will also receive an email notifying them that they have won.

10.2 Prizes will be issued 20 business days after winner selection. 


11. Distribution of funds raised.

11.1. All entrants acknowledge that 80% of all funds raised will go to the Benefitting Charities, this is processed via the Rugby Football Union with all monies received passed to the Benefitting Charities. All entrants recognize that 20% (+VAT) of the funds raised will go the Promoter to cover
the cost of running the promotion. These costs include online donation administration, administration of the free draw, marketing expenses, and administration of stadium donation collection such as staffing and equipment.

12. Final Terms

 

12.1 Neither the Promoter, nor any of the Participating Charities, Sponsors or Partners shall be liable in contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence) or otherwise in connection with this fundraising initiative for:

 

(a) loss of revenue, contract, profits, business or anticipated savings or loss of data;

(b) any special or indirect or consequential losses;

(c) any loss of goodwill or reputation; or

(d) the loss of opportunity to enter a fundraising initiative and/or right to receive a Prize

 

12.2 The Promoter makes no warranty, representation or guarantee that use of the Websites, telephone system, broadcast or live transmission will be uninterrupted, timely and/or error-free.
